Access to and use of this web site is provided by AuPairIreland.ie and subject to the following Terms of Use.

Use of this site constitutes your acceptance of these terms which take effect on the date which you first use the site. AuPairIreland.ie reserves the right to update the Terms of Use at any time without notice to you. Users are responsible for reviewing regularly information posted online to obtain timely notice of such changes. Your continued use of this site after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of this agreement as modified by the posted changes.

Names, Images & Logos

The names, images and logos identifying AuPairIreland.ie or third parties and their products and services are proprietary marks of AuPairIreland.ie and/or third parties.


If any AuPairIreland.ie services require you to open an account, you must complete the registration process by providing us with current, complete and accurate information as prompted by the applicable registration form. You are entirely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password and account.

Furthermore, you are entirely responsible for any and all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify AuPairIreland.ie immediately of any unauthorised use of your account or any other breach of security. AuPairIreland.ie will not be liable for any loss that you may incur as a result of someone else using your password or account, either with or without your knowledge. However, you could be held liable for losses incurred by AuPairIreland.ie or another party due to someone else using your account or password.

We reserve the absolute right at our sole discretion, without being obliged to give any reason, to reject, amend or remove any content posted or submitted by you any time without notice to you. We reserve the right to monitor and to review all Content submitted to us, accessed on or published on AuPairIreland.ie at any time.

You may not use anyone else's account at any time.

Only one account may be registered per household, multiple accounts will be removed.

Unlawful & Prohibited Use

As a condition of your use of the Services, you will not use the Services for any purpose that is unlawful or prohibited by these terms of use. You may not use the Services in any manner that could damage, disable, overburden, or impair the AuPairIreland.ie server.

You may not attempt to gain unauthorised access to any Services, other accounts, computer systems or networks connected to any AuPairIreland.ie server or to any of the Services, through hacking, password mining or any other means. You may not obtain or attempt to obtain any materials or information through any means not intentionally made available through the Services.

Save as herein provided, you are prohibited from using or removing any content from the AuPairIreland.ie site by any means for commercial purposes and from using the site for commercial purposes. Where such use of materials is desired the source must first be identified and written consent provided.

Refund Policy

We will be happy to issue a refund within 24 hours of an account upgrade if you have not used your premium account services eg. no CVs have been downloaded, or no premium job has been posted.

We do not issue partial refunds.

Links to other websites

While using this web site you may access third party web sites though links. Such third party web sites are not under our control and we are not responsible for the availability of such sites or their contents.

Any links provided on the web site are provided for your interest or convenience only and do not represent or imply any endorsement by us of such linked site and we cannot be held liable for any loss or damage which may arise from use of such third party web site or contracts entered into resulting from the use of such third party web sites.

You acknowledge that the use of such third party web sites is governed by the terms and conditions of use applicable to such sites.

Exclusion of Liability

In no event will AuPairIreland.ie be liable for any damages including, without limitation indirect or consequential damages, or any damages whatsoever arising from use or loss of use, data, or profits, whether in action of contract or negligence, arising out of or in connection with the use of the site.

No warranty is given that this web site shall be available on an uninterrupted basis, and no liability can be accepted in respect of losses or damages arising out of such unavailability.

We do not control the content of advertisements posted by users on the website, and we do not guarantee the accuracy, integrity or quality of the content. You understand that by using the website, you may be exposed to content that is offensive, indecent or objectionable without liability.

We accept no liability in respect of losses or damages arising out of changes made to the content of this web site by any third parties. Access to and use of this web site is at the users own risk.

We accept no liability in respect of losses or damages arising from jobseekers hired on this site, character checks and references are the responsibility of the employer.

You understand that we cannot guarantee the identity of any other users with whom you may interact in the course of using the AuPairIreland.ie service. Additionally, we cannot guarantee the authenticity of any data which users may provide about themselves or relationships they may describe.

If these Terms of Use are not accepted in full, the use of this site must be terminated immediately.

Ensuring quality of content

The following Terms of Use are in place to protect the quality of the content on site. Quality content means that jobseekers can find the most relevant positions quickly and easily and that employers receive relevant applications.

  • Once a new job has been added, this job may only be reposted and treated as a new position once 45 days have elapsed. Cloning jobs is misleading for jobseekers.
  • Each position may be posted once only. Posting duplicates of the same job gives unrealistic search results and is deeply frustrating for job seekers.
  • Do not post employer contact details in your ad/account profile. Any such ads/profiles will be removed.
  • Job descriptions must contain adequate, meaningful, details of the positions they advertise. We reserve the right to remove any advertisments we feel may cause confusion.

Account Management

  • We can not remove host family account details from our database as they are needed to prevent abuse of our free trial offer.
  • Although advertisments expire after 45 days it is a host family's responsibility to delete an ad if they wish it to be removed before that time period has passed.
  • AuPairIreland.ie is not responsible for the quality of content in either advertising or curriculum vitaes.

User Content Supplemental Terms and Conditions

User Content may only be created, posted and used by a user who has accepted and complies with the Terms of Use, including the following terms and conditions:

  • Creating and Posting User Content:

    You may only create and publish User Content for purposes that are consistent with these Terms of Use and that are not illegal or otherwise breach applicable laws, regulations, or other binding contractual obligations you may have towards us or third parties (“Legal Provisions”), including User Content which is unlawful, fraudulent, discriminatory, threatening, abusive, libelous, defamatory, obscene or otherwise objectionable or that contains sexual, ethnic or racial or other discriminating slurs, which is obscene, or which is otherwise in breach of the law. You may not create any User Content that contains confidential or proprietary information, intellectual property, personal data relating to third parties (including an individual’s name or other information which identifies a living individual) or trade secrets, or which breaches your employment agreement. Once you create and publish User Content you will not be able to edit or delete that User Content.

  • Licence of User Content:

    By submitting User Content you hereby grant to us and our licensees a worldwide, unrestricted, irrevocable, perpetual, non-exclusive, transferable and royalty-free licence to use, copy, make, reproduce, display, perform, distribute, sublicence, sell, delete, edit, prepare derivative works from, analyse and otherwise exploit the User Content for the purposes of managing our Website, providing the Website Services and operation of our businesses (including by compiling it together with other User Content and anonymising it to perform statistical analysis for comparison or benchmarking purposes).

  • Liability for User Content:

    AuPairIreland.ie does not endorse and is not responsible for any opinion, advice, information, or statement contained in the User Content, including links from our Website to third party websites over which we have no control. You acknowledge that by accessing the Website, you may come into contact with Content that you find harmful, offensive, threatening, indecent or objectionable and you acknowledge that AuPairIreland.ie shall have no liability to you for any User Content including explicit language and other potentially offensive material. To the fullest extent permitted by law, AuPairIreland.ie shall under no circumstances be liable for any use, misuse of or reliance upon, any User Content, for any claim made in relation to these Terms of Use, nor for any damages, whether direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special or punitive, and whether arising from use, misuse or reliance upon the User Content, from damage caused by information contained in the User Content or to damages incurred by reason of use of any links provided within the User Content.

We expressly exclude our liability for any loss or damage arising from the use of the Website and/or Website Services by a user in contravention of our Terms of Use, whether the Website and/or Website Services are moderated or not. Any action that we might take in respect of a user or regarding Content, for example, deletion, editing or declining to publish, is neither an admission of liability on our part nor an indication of the breach or otherwise of any standard, Legal Provision or term by a user. Where we do moderate the Website and/or Website Services, we will normally provide you with a means of contacting the moderator or an administrator, should a concern or difficulty arise.

To attract more applicants, job details, including family photos, are also posted on our Google Business, Facebook and Twitter pages, if you'd rather not have your family photo displayed on any of these networks, please don't upload an image.
