Fun and friendly family seek an outgoing Au Pair to help out with our 4 children.
Role is to help with 4 kids, boy 8 who is in school until 3pm, boy 3.5 who is in play school until 12.30pm and Twins girls aged 2.5.
We live in a rural village but are only 10 minutes drive to Carrickmacross. The children go to school in Carrickmacross so we are always driving in and out of the town.
Live in Au Pair: large spacious modern house with your own private room downstairs away from kids rooms. Own bathroom and shower downstairs. Own side enterance to house.
25-30 hours per week on a flexible basis.we will cover all your accommodation and food costs and provide you with a set pocket money allowance. I currently work 2 days per week in Dublin but we have a child minder that looks after the children on those two day. What we need from our au pair is help on the other week days. Each week we can sit down and plan our schedule out.
On your days off there will be lots to do. Carrickmacross has lots of gym and exercise classes. Also there is a large library. A bus goes straight into Dublin city up to 8 times per day. If you wish to travel up to Dublin we will provide the bus ticket for this in addition to you weekly pocket money allowance. At weekends as a family we like to do lots of different things and take day trips to explore new areas. We would hope that you would accompany us if you wish too.
Light housework: again list of chores will be provided on a weekly basis. The main aspect of this job is too help entertain the children. They love to play games, bake cakes and do arts and crafts.
We would like our Au Pair to feel like part of the family and help out with the day to day tasks. We do not expect our Au Pair to solely mind our 4 children 5 days a week. We are a very fair and fun family. Both myself and my husband have travelled abroad and we know how a person feels when they first arrive into a new home and country. We will make every effort to ensure our Au Pair has a very good cultural experience in Ireland and in return we ask for help on certain days for a certain number of hours.
