Au Pair wanted in Dublin South (excellent conditions)
Hello, Oi, Hola, Salut, Ciao, Czesc...
We are looking for a new Au Pair to join our family. Our last Au Pair lived with us for 5 years, unfortunately she had to go back home due to family reasons.
Briefly about us:
We live in Dublin South, 10km from city center and less than a minute walk to the Dublin Bus stop for the city trips. Living in a quiet area with close by parks, local shopping amenities including SuperValu within 2 mins walk. We own a large, detached house with a garden.
Our family consists of our two sons (4 and nearly 7 years old) and a small dog. Boys are bilingual (English and Polish) after Irish mother and Polish father, therefore a new Au Pair would need to speak at least one of those languages.
We both work Monday to Friday, with flexible hours, but generally 9am-5pm.
Our 4 year old son attends creche from 9-12 (10 min walk from home).
The 6 year old attends school from 8:30-1pm (5 min walk from home) + after school classes mainly till 4/5pm.
Main responsibilities for the Au Pair would be to drop and collect at least one of the boys to/from school, we are usually able to take one on the way to work, and spent time with them in the afternoon until we come back from work. For example, working hours would be: Monday to Friday 7:30 -9am & 12-5pm
We do not expect from the Au Pair to work regular evenings or weekends (there may be occasional evening when we are traveling for work etc). There is an opportunity to do additional courses, other part time work or just relax. We are also open to occasional Friday and/or Monday off to enable Au Pair to travel/spend time with friends/see the sights.
We are both relatively young working professionals, willing to help and support you in your career/language development. Expecting an honest, energetic, responsible and positive Au Pair to become part of our family.
We offer full privacy, ensuite room with shower in renovated to modern standard house, high speed internet with international IPTV, food included and no bills.
Ideal candidate: experience with children & enjoys time spent with them, proactive person with positive attitude, non-smoker, supporting house maintenance, some cooking skills.
Longer term commitment - ideally about a year or more.
Please ask if you have any questions.
